It is with great pleasure that we are now offering a new service of specialised golf club fitting of woods, irons and putters for our clients at The Knightsbridge Golf School. We are always trying to make golf as enjoyable as possible for you, so by using the correct golf equipment you will be able to have more fun at this wonderful game. We will be using one of the most cutting edge golf club fitting centres on the golf market today from – Henry Griffitts.

One of the most important factors to successful golf is having a golf swing which repeats itself. We believe the golf swing you are taught at The Knightsbridge Golf School is easy for you to repeat. With the Henry Griffitts Total Fit centre we have the best tools to fit the correct golf clubs to the swing we are teaching you. This we feel is an essential marriage. It makes sense to have golf clubs dynamically fitted to you by your experienced golf coach as only he knows what golf fundamentals you should have and the swing shape you should have for you to achieve optimal ball striking and accuracy. Remember you cannot hit the ball where you would like without making fundamental or swing compensations if your clubs do not fit you. |
We also offer a warm and relaxed atmosphere for you to practice in and along with our wide range of golf equipment, premium golf balls and our Vector launch monitor which gives us ideal conditions to achieve more accurate results when fitting and testing golf equipment compared to being out on the golf course or on a driving range. |

COMMON PROBLEMS THAT OFTEN OCCUR WHEN IRONS DO NOT FIT YOU CORRECTLY
If the golf club does not fit accurately you will make compensations and change some of your “fundamentals” which are: club head aim, grip, ball position, stance, posture, body alignment or your swing in order for you to get the results you need. Not to mention it is very difficult to repeat any of these compensations. |

GOLF CLUB TOO FLAT
This causes the toe of the club to make more contact with the ground at impact which then would cause the club face to open and your golf ball to fly to the right. |
| Possible compensations are: |
- Closing, hooding the clubface at address which will also cause your short irons to fly longer
- Strengthening your grip at address
- Changing your body alignment to aim more left of your target
- The player would swing more out to in, more towards the left of the target
- Player tends to lose balance forward or on the toes
- Missed iron shots tend to be towards the toe of the golf club
- The player has difficulty using blade irons, prefers perimeter weighted clubs.
